Ok, so let’s not kid ourselves. Cinco de Mayo is not a Mexican Holiday at all, it’s been commercialized by Americans.
“Mexican independence is celebrated Sept.16. Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican army's unlikely victory over the French forces of Napoleon III on May 5, 1862, at the Battle of Puebla”
So I’m going to have 2 parties since I absolutely love Mexico.
Our Cinco de Mayo Workshop will teach you how to make the simplest of Salsa’s and you better believe we will be feasting on some pretty amazing Tacos to go with your freshly made Salsa.
Wait… let’s not forget margaritas, which you will also be making with your own 2 hands and enjoying together.
In true party style, this event will be open to a larger group of 20 persons.
(please bring a small glass jar with you if you’d like to take your salsa home with you, trust me it’s even better the following day)
