Where We EAT: Naan Street Food, Palma de Mallorca

I've been eating out a lot in Santa Catalina on Palma recently. It's the trendy area with many small Restaurants & Cafes that offer creative cuisine. You'll have a few Spanish Tapas places but if you want to excite your palate with different, more exotic flavors the place to be is Santa Catalina. It reminds me a lot of the Lower East Side of Manhattan in the early 2000's, before Williamsburg was on trend.
The concept at Naan is that they have picked their idea of the best "street food" bites from around the World. Obviously this is playing it safe as there is something for everyone, but as a Restaurant difficult to execute to a high standard. We decided to stay with more Asian Style dishes and noticed that the same sauces and flavors were present with each dish. So as much as everything should have been tasting very different, it was all the same. With that being said if you just order 1 dish the flavors are bold, well seasoned and very tasty. The fish tacos were the highlight of the lunch and we wish we had ordered the larger portion.

The two of us ended up ordering 4 small plates to share which was plenty of food to fill us up. We look forward to coming back and trying the other offerings on the menu that are from a different region of the World. I'm very curious to see how the lobster roll tastes and have dreams of Summer in Maine eating freshly caught lobster on a classic potato bun.

Tuesday - Saturday 13:00 - 16:00 / 19:30 - 23:30

2 person lunch with 4 small plates and 1 Coca Cola & 1 Spicy Naan Cocktail was 40.00euros. The cocktail was 7.00euros and not worth the splurge. But sometimes you have to take the risk and drink up!
